Gong captures what customers actually say on calls. Connecting it brings that conversation data into GainTrace, so call activity and context sit alongside the rest of an account’s story.

What syncs

GainTrace pulls these from Gong and attaches them to your accounts:
  • Calls land on the account timeline, so recent conversations are in view.
  • Users map call activity to your team.
  • Deals tie conversations back to the pipeline.

Connect Gong

Open the catalog

Go to Integrations in the left nav and pick Gong.

Authorize

Use Connect with OAuth and approve GainTrace in the Gong window. You can also connect manually with API credentials.

Let it sync

Your call data starts flowing in. Manage the connection under Data > Sources.

What you can do with it

With Gong connected, call activity becomes part of the account picture. Your CSMs can see recent conversations in context, and a quiet stretch with no calls is one more input into how an account is really doing.

Good to know

  • Gong syncs on a regular schedule, so new calls land within a few minutes.
  • This connector is read-only. GainTrace reads your Gong data and doesn’t write back to it.
