Governance is the admin console for security and compliance, reached from the shield icon in the left rail. It opens on an overview of your workspace’s security posture, with a set of controls alongside it.
Audit trail
Audit is a record of who did what in your workspace: member changes, role changes, invites, and more. You can page through it and export it as a CSV for your records.
Data retention
Under Retention, you set how long GainTrace keeps certain records before pruning them. The prune runs on a daily schedule, and you can also run it on demand.
Field access
Field policies let you hide or redact sensitive fields for certain roles, so not everyone sees every value.
Good to know
- Governance controls are for owners and admins.
- Field redaction currently applies to the People list, so treat it as a control for that surface for now.
