Once your admin has GainTrace connected, here’s how most CSMs use it day to day. Your admin handles the setup, so your accounts and their data are already here.

Start in Triage

Triage is where the work waiting on you shows up. A lot of it is actions Trace AI has drafted for your accounts, gathered into a Needs approval queue: go through them and approve or decline each one. Triage also has a champion coverage view, so you can spot accounts without a tracked champion.

Open a company

Click any account to open its Company page. It’s the full picture in one place:
  • How their health is trending, and what’s driving it.
  • Recent signals, so you can see what changed and when.
  • The people you work with, including who your champions are.
  • Revenue, renewals, and any plans in flight.
Spend a minute here before a call and you’ll walk in knowing where things stand.

Ask Trace AI

When you’d rather ask than click, open Trace AI from the button in the corner, or press Cmd J. Ask it things like “which of my accounts have gone quiet this month?” or “draft a check-in email for Acme.” It reads your data, so its answers are grounded in your accounts, and it drafts outreach you can edit before you send. Like any AI assistant, Trace AI can get things wrong, so give its answers and drafts a quick read before you act on them.
