# Companies

> Browse your accounts, filter by health, assign owners, and open any company's full record.

**Companies** is your directory of every account, under the **Records** section in the left nav. Each company is a single record GainTrace builds by resolving the data from your connected sources, so you're looking at one row per customer, not one per tool.

## Find the company you need

A few controls sit above the list, and these ones search your whole list:

* **Search** matches on company name or domain.
* The health dropdown (**All health**) narrows to **Healthy**, **At Risk**, or **Churning**.
* **Mine** shows only the companies where you're the CSM.
* **Sorted by** orders the list by Last Updated, Name, Health Score, Completeness, or Sources. Pick the active option again to flip the direction.

The **Filter** button adds finer conditions like industry or contact count. Those conditions narrow the page you're currently viewing, so pair them with search when you're working a large list.

## Read the list at a glance

Each row shows the company's health as a colored dot (green for Healthy, amber for At Risk, red for Churning), plus its domain, industry, contact count, ARR, plan, and CSM. Use the view toggle near the title to switch between the table and a **Board** layout that groups companies into Healthy, At risk, and Churning columns.

## Assign an owner

Click the **CSM** cell on any row to set or change who owns that account. To reassign several at once, select rows with the checkboxes and use **Assign CSM** in the bar that appears.

## Open a company

Click a row to open its full record. You'll see health and its recent trend, the people you work with, revenue and renewal, recent activity, and any success plans in flight. It's the one page to read before a call.

## Good to know

* Companies are created for you from your connected sources. A company shows up once its data has synced and resolved, so there's no manual add step.
* **Export** downloads the page you're viewing as a CSV, not the entire list. Narrow the list first if you want a specific set.
* Saved views are stored in your browser, so they're personal to you on this device.
