# Billing and plans

> See your plan and usage, change plans, and manage your subscription.

Your subscription lives in **Settings > Billing**. It shows your current plan, your usage against your plan's limits, and the ways to change plans.

## Your plan and usage

The page lays out what you're on and how much of each limit you've used, like members and other capped resources. When you're getting close to a limit, that's your cue to move up a plan.

## Change plans

GainTrace has a few plans:

* **Pro**, billed per seat, for growing teams.
* **Scale**, a flat plan for larger teams.
* **Enterprise**, arranged with our team.

Pick a plan and choose monthly or annual billing (annual comes with a couple of months free). Checkout runs through Stripe. Once you're subscribed, **Manage billing** opens the Stripe portal, where you can update your card, download invoices, or cancel.

## Good to know

* Only an owner can change the plan or open the billing portal. Admins can view billing and turn pay-as-you-go on or off.
* You can add up to 50 seats yourself on Pro. Beyond that, Scale includes unlimited seats, or talk to us about Enterprise.
* Turning on pay-as-you-go lets you go past a limit and pay for the overage instead of being blocked.
